Parenting is a scary, awesome, delightful, and rewarding task for which you are unprepared! It is an enormous responsibility and by the time you are expert at it, the kids are gone. Being wise and godly parents who are filled with the Holy Spirit is a very special thing.
Godly parents are at the heart of all Biblical parenting. It is vital to understand that all children are born with a sinful nature and are utterly and totally self-centered. The folly in a child’s heart must be removed, because it places the child at risk.
Godly parents will listen when God speaks, and they will obey Him. In times of crisis or uncertainty, they will know where to go for wisdom and guidance.
