Perturbation–an interesting synonym for anxiety, worry, angst, anguish. In 1995, John Piper wrote Future Grace (Multnomah) containing some practical insights into these symptoms of unbelief. “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) If you believe that, it will be very hard for you to live in perturbation. Now keep those synonyms in mind and insert them in these incredible verses:
John 13:34 (emphasis added) — “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” Continue Reading »

What is “truth?”
All cults and religions claim to speak “truth.” How are we then to know who is right? If the Bible says that Jesus Christ is God, Creator, Savior—and the Koran says that he is a created being but NOT God…are you listening?…they cannot BOTH be right. One is false. There are some mental perverts out there today claiming that you can call a horse black and I can call it white, and we are both right. Nonsense.
